I just heard "Faithfully" by Journey on the radio. Something about that songs always chokes me up:

Highway run
Into the midnight sun
Wheels go round and round
Youre on my mind
Restless hearts
Sleep alone tonight
Sendin all my love
Along the wire

They say that the road
Aint no place to start a family
Right down the line
Its been you and me
And lovin a music man
Aint always what its supposed to be
Oh girl you stand by me
Im forever yours...faithfully

Circus life
Under the big top world
We all need the clowns
To make us smile
Through space and time
Always another show
Wondering where I am
Lost without you

And being apart aint easy
On this love affair
Two strangers learn to fall in love again
I get the joy
Of rediscovering you
Oh girl, you stand by me
Im forever yours...faithfully

Oh, oh, oh, oh
Faithfully, Im still yours
Im forever yours
Ever yours...faithfully

I'm not sure they meant for it to.......but it surely does....

Wish You Were Here

Pink Floyd

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

I cant hear Rascal Flatts "Sara Beth" without crying.

Sarabeth is scared to death
To hear what the doctor will say
She hasn't been well
Since the day that she fell
And the bruise it just wont go away

So she sits and she waits with her mother and dad
And flips through an old magazine
'Til the nurse with a smile stands at the door
And says "Will you please come with me?"

Sarabeth is scared to death
Cause the doctor just told her the news
Between the red cells and white
Something's not right
But we're gonna take care of you

Six chances in ten it wont come back again
With the therapy we're gonna try
It's just been approved it's the strongest there is
I think we caught it in time
Sarabeth closes her eyes

And she dreams she dancin' around and around
Without any cares
And her very first love
Is holding her close
And the soft wind is blowing her hair

Sarabeth is scared to death
as she sits holding her mom
cause It would be a mistake
For someone to take
A girl with no hair to the prom

For just this morning right there on her pillow
Was the cruelest of any surprise
She cried when she gathered it all in her hands
The proof that she couldn't deny
Sarabeth closes her eyes

And she dreams she dancin' around and around
With out any cares
And her very first love
Was holding her close
And the soft wind was blowing her hair

It's quarter to seven
That boy's at the door
And her daddy ushers him in
When he takes off his cap they all start to cry
Cause this morning where his hair had been
Softly she touches just skin

And they go dancin' around and around
Without any cares
And her very first true love
Was holding her close
And for a moment she isn't scared
Ohhhhhh.

I had cancer when I was a girl and I lost all my hair to chemo. I know that girl in the song.

MnG stole my answer! Darn...

(thinking)

I guess maybe Bruce Springsteen's Streets of Philadelphia?

I was bruised and battered and I couldnt tell
What I felt
I was unrecognizable to myself
I saw my reflection in a window I didnt know
My own face
Oh brother are you gonna leave me
Wastin´away
On the streets of philadelphia

I walked the avenue till my legs felt like stone
I heard the voices of friends vanished and gone
At night I could hear the blood in my veins
Black and whispering as the rain
On the streets of philadelphia

Aint no angel gonna greet me
Its just you and I my friend
My clothes dont fit me no more
I walked a thousand miles
Just to slip the skin

The night has fallen, I'm lying awake
I can feel myself fading away
So receive me brother with your faithless kiss
Or will we leave each other alone like this
On the streets of philadelphia

THE KING OF BROKEN HEARTS

The king of broken hearts doesn't ask much from his friends
And he has quite a few of them
They know he'll understand
That's just the way it goes.

The king of broken hearts doesn't know he's a king
He's trying to forget other things
Like some ol' chilly scenes
He's walking through alone.

He talks to angels and the stars start to spin
He thinks of troubles that he's gotten in
He recalls how his heart got broken
And how it's still that way.

The king of broken hearts is so sad and wise
He can smile while he's crying inside
We know he'll be brave tonight
'Cause he's the king of broken hearts.

He talks to angels and the stars start to spin
He thinks of troubles that he's gotten in
He recalls how his heart got broken
And how it's still that way.

The king of broken hearts thinks that he's an old fool
He's a little bit like me and you
So what's a king like that supposed to do
With all that blue time
We know he'll be brave tonight
'Cause he's the king of broken hearts
He's the king of broken hearts.

George Strait

There's this one song by System of a Down called "Soldier Side" it's so sad. It's about war and what people do when they know they are going to die. There's a part about young kids leaving home forever to go fight in a war, too.

Unchained Melody..Righteous Bros, Abraham, Martin & John...Dion, Laurie...Dickey Lee (60's). All three of those 60's songs do it to me! Faithfully from Journey is one of the most beautiful rock ballads ever, but I don't get teary from it.

Eric Clapton - "Tears in Heaven"

If that song doesn't make you cry then you have no soul!

Also Garth Brooks - "If Tomorrow Never Comes" and Bob Seger - "Famous Final Scene"
