World history of stuttering is pretty ambitious. I've always been intrigued at the story of the University of Iowa psychology researchers that advised orphans in the 1930's that they were teaching them how to speak more clearly, when actually, they were trying to make them stutter. It was called the "Monster Study" The kids ended up as hopeless severe stutterers while the researchers became world renowned and rewarded scientists. Hope you can include this because it's a great reminder how crappy we can treat each other in the name of science if we let ourseves do it.

Good luck on this
