Not because of their politics, but 'cause of their idiocy.

My heritage is Belgian. The language spoken was French, but the attitude of the French is very different.

The idiocy of renaming "French Fries" which actually came from Belgium, not France, is probably a direct response to a culture which lowered their own national overall intelligence by killing their own Intellectuals. As a culture, they never recovered.

Nope, I do not boycott places that sell "Freedom Fries." The people who run such places, though perhaps idiots, have their hearts in the right place and are still more intelligent and less arrogant than the French.

Who sells freedom fries? I have never heard of those. McDonald's still sells French fries, and that is the only place that has good fries anyway. I wouldn't boycott a place just for renaming a food item.

Changing the name of french toast and french fries to freedom fires was absurd. How many French people do you suppose are losing sleep over it? If you want to show your patriotism there are alot more productive ways of doing it. Sending letters to our people in Iraq would encourage them more than your not eating french fries.
