i have a notebook, i was playing a game on it when it just switched off. When i swtiched it on again, the screen appeared was upside down.The notebook though seems to be working properly except for my monitor which appears upside down

Press ctrl + alt + either the up arrow or down arrow, and it should fix your screen.

Right click on the screen (background) and open up each of the bars. On one of them there should be an option to turn the screen. This happened while i was trying to play some game or something and this method fixed it for me.

right click on the desktop select properties, then settings and change it back, you may have to go into advanced
