If you have come on a student visa there is strict restriction that you will not not seek paid employment and therefore you should avoid it else it is possible you might get deported. However if someone known to you pays you for a service you do for him it will be possible only if your name does not appear on any payroll. You have to be careful that you don't divulge this unofficial job to anyone lest they act as informers.
