'yeh sure but you havent got one' they said
'i recently bought one' i said
'what barbeque did you get? a kettle drum one' laughing as they said it.
'no its gas' i said
they stopped laughing and quickly changed the subject.

I think because those were really popular in the 70's...but they are coming back in style- I wouldn't mine owning one of them now ( especially the gas ones_

Wow, that sounds ultra modern compared to the one I once built out of bricks and cake cooling trays. I don't know why anyone would laugh about it to be honest, I'm kind of envious...
