Any one else notice that there's only ONE question under Kansas City. I find that sad. I personally adore living where I do. Lenexa, KS is in Johnson county, which is one of the ten richest counties in America. Anyone else proud of where they live, regardless of how few people actually enjoy living here.

With the new Village West (Nascar, T-Bones, shopping, water park resort, restaurants, etc.) just to the north of us, and Shawnee Mission Parkway here in Johnson Co to shop and eat over here, I think this is a great place to live.
I'm in Shawnee.

Yes I love where I live! I love New Hampshire! Were lucky here to have a lake and mountain on every corner and the ocean just 15 min away! Our summers are hot, swimming, hiking and boating are great. In winter we get plenty of snow and skiing is always good too. Another benefit is that we have NO TAXES here (except property) which is pretty cool. Jobs pay well and homes are still cheap. I'm a tad bummed that were quickly being discovered and flocks of people are moving here now. Were the only New England state that is growing. Anyway, If your ever looking for a great vacation getaway give us a look sometime you will enjoy it!

I also live in Johnson County (Olathe, KS) and there is so much better things to do then waste your time on yahoo answers, and people here are smart enough to find the answers they are looking for with a quick Goggle search.

I wouldn't want to live any place other than MO. I think we
should be proud of our home place. I have been to the
dog races in Kansas. Don't get to go often anymore, but it
is great fun.
