My law professor. He was more liberal than I am and wasn't above stating his views but he knew the history and foundation of the law and gave us students a deep appreciation for our constitution.

I have lots of teachers that I like. Some are better outside of the classroom than in it, and some are just great teachers. I think my favorite would have to be my last history teacher, Mr. Nesmith. He made history fun and interesting, and he didn't take crap from his students. He held everyone to the same standard (he only wanted the best that a student could give him). Mr. N is the kind to see you in the hallways two years after you'd had his class and still say hi to you and remember your name.
I used to sit in on his classes just for the hell of it. He'd ask me questions about whatever subject he was lecturing on that day to see if I still remembered.

I like this question because I'm a teacher! : )
My favourite teachers were those who inspired me to become a teacher. The subject they taught doesn't even matter- they loved their jobs, laughed a lot, and cared about their students. Those were my favourites.

My favourite teacher taught me english literature about 10 years ago whilst I was still in high school. She was my favourite because she has the patience and nurtured a keen interest in me for reading, when I used to hate books. Since then, I never looked back...
