I believe that in 1955 Motorola first came up with a computer and our government was the only one able the have them.
Our president then ( Eisenhower) promised that no American household would ever have access to such technology.
But isn't odd though how, we've become hi-tech. within the last fifty-one years.
and isn't that the time that our government hid the truth about the crash of a UFO, in area 51 ????
GEE, I wonder where mankind got all this technology within the last fifty nine years?
HMMM, I wonder,

Soccersam, that is the most incorrect answer I have ever seen posted.
There really was no single inventor. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer#History_of_computing for a history of computing.
