Is boring and a waste of time. I would rather have my teeth pulled out one by one than watch it.....anyone else?

yeh I agree that we wont win the cup. I'd rather have a crack wax than sit through it all! Oh well, we could always go down the bingo hall whilst it's on eh?

I tried the other day to watch. Couldn't do it. One dude from England told me it is a contact sport. Now I've played soccer up until I was 13 then I discovered American Football. Any soccer fan tries to tell me soccer is a contact sport ought to strap on the armor and try to drive block me out of the way.
Played American football until my freshman yr of college then realized those dudes are too big, strong and mean and I was a 230Lb offensive lineman at that time. After I had my front teeth removed by a defensive noseguards fists I decided I better stick to studying.

I don't hate football as much as you
BUT I do hate Football and i'm a cheerleader!!
Ofcoarse I'm only into cheerleading for the competitons

something fun to do whilst the football is on: watch ten minutes of men running round a field (i.e the football) then go and watch some ants do the exact same thing, the similarities are great!

Football is terrible! It's the most stupid sport in the whole world!
Now everybody seems to be thrilled by the world championship! And it's all the time on the tv!

I agree, It is a very stupid sport. I am not even in the slightest bit phased that when the world cup final is on, I will be listening to live rock music(I'm going to Oxegen, its the same day)

To the person above me, it's called football in every other country but the USA. And, I personally love football/soccer. I played it for 11 years, and just recently quit simply because my team broke up. But, we've all got our own opinions.
