i HAVE TRIED YET ANOTHER FAKE TAN - YET AGAIN, RUBBISH RESULTS. i HAVE DONE ALL THE EXFOLIATING, MOISTURISING, ETC AND STILL THE THING IS COMPLETELY PATCHY.

Another £20 in the dustbin. Anyone know a good one that actually works on very pale skin?

I spent years with the same problem! I walked around with orange skin for longer than I care to remember.

Then I tried the Estee Lauder stuff. It doesn't make you look super tan (perhaps it would if you used more of it than I do - I don't use much), but it also doesn't make you orange. It's a bit more expensive than I'd like, but it's worth it because it takes away the glare (as a fellow pale-skinned person, I'm sure you know what I mean).

There is a new one on tele, which is a moisturiser, giving you a gradual tan- it's only about £3 for a small bottle- about a fiver for the larger one.

I got some wipes the other day as well- just like make-up remover ones. Use them before bed and you'll wake up with a tan. Only cost 89p for 25 as well!

If you havn't already, try St Tropez.

Make sure you use the lotion rather than the mousse or the spray. And do it at nite so you can sleep in it. Make sure you wear a loose slip, or even better sleep naked.

Because the lotion comes a out a muddy colour, you can easily spot bits you've missed.

If you've tried st tropez and fake bake, go to the salon for a st tropez and ask the beauty therapist lots of questions and WATCH

Do you want my honest opinion? I don't know why anyone bothers with fake tan. Okay, I have to admit, I'm naturally olive skinned and I tan with no problems, at the same time, other women I have admired for their natural beauty have that 'English Rose' complexion, i.e. fair hair and skin.

They make the most of their fair skin tone by using a sheer and pale foundation with a little bit of blush with gives them that wonderful fresh and clear appearance.

I loathe the sight of an orange woman.

Please, stay natural, it's very pretty!

I have tried loads too! I have found the best to be Garnier ambre solaire NO STREAKS bronzer spray , I don't know which country you live in but they sell it in the UK. If you can't get it in your country, look for one that say's "No Streaks" Make sure you wear a pair of latex gloves and keep blending. Or you could get a tinted self tan so you can see wear you are putting it. QVC do some excellent ones. Good Luck

idiot.

1. you CAN'T get skin cancer from fake tan
2. fake tans do not contain tannin, plus tannin is not a dangerous substance - it is a natural defence produced by the body to protect against UV
3. high exposure to actual sunlight (in particular the UV rays present in sunlight) can dramatically increase the risk of skin cancer.
I agree that most fake tans are pretty useless, although if you buy a spray it does reduce streaking and patches.

If you do intend to get a natural tan, go somewhere sunny but NOT Egypt - far too hot and too much risk of burning if you have fair skin. When sunbathing, apply plenty of high factor sun cream, and stay out of the sun in the middle of the day when it gets hottest. Don't forget to reapply your suncream after a few hours and especially if you get wet.

hope i helped =)

try johnsons holiday tan, its great. cheap and cheerful. it gives you skin a light tan built up over a number of days, no worries about streaks. i find it can be a bit smelly so i put it on about 2 hours before bed and have shower in the morning. happy days!! lancome flash bronzer is also a great product, its a fake tan, doesn't smell nasty at all and can last upto 7 days sometimes.

i do no longer comprehend the place you reside, yet you could desire to discover an airbrush tanning place. someone will use an airbrush gun and tan your complete physique. I do it a week and that i stay nice and tan. it is barely $30 without sunlight harm or tan lines.

Go to a spa and get a professional airbrush tanner. I'm told it's worth every penny!
