About 15-20% of the theatre back from the screen and right in the center seat. That's perfect to me. Not too close to the screen, but not so far you can't see things well. You don't have to turn your head so much to see either side of the screen. The surround sound comes in well in the center of the seats. Hope this makes sense.

I always try to get there early and sit in middle row, middle seats. That always gives you the best sound and best view of the screen. If that is not available I sit in the top row, or the fourth, fifth row,

According to me in balcony middle seat of the second row is the best.because of the balcony you don't give any strain to your neck and because of second row yau can probably see everything on the screen clearly.
