Only in United States of America people don't care about soccer and/or the World Cup, but most countries in the world, World Cup is the most watched sport in the world in case you don't know.
Some countries, schools, government offices are all closed for World Cup.

I will start off by saying "sanscash" you are a retard. I live in the U.S. and care about the World Cup of football. To the world this cup is bigger than the Olympics and it seriously matters. The ignorance of most Americans is terrible, they don't know anything about something so they just hate it, it's sad.

It's fun! So many professional players are artists more than anything. Look up Ronaldinho, he's a magician!
The World Cup may not matter to many, but then again it's an event that brings the whole world together. I think that's awesome.

Yes it does matter! It's the biggest sporting event in the world and only happens once every four years! We also get to see the best teams and players competing in the most exciting sport in the world!

let me put it this way, if your country or state is not good in soccer probably all of your citizen, i mean majority is not interested on it.
