It is my dream to go into space and explore. But I don't know where to begin.
Where do I start? How can I get there? What can I - just a regular everyday guy - do to get into space and explore the universe?

Of course you can become an astronaut ..It's not so late and everyone can begin from the 0
well i think you have to study and practise in the college ( there's many college that makes that in it's education system)
and then you go to NASA and search for job ..

In which field now you are?
If you are in same field or working in any space shettle then work more.
Else try to contact space shettle

If you have enough money you can go to space as a tourist by spening money to shace shettles organizationa.

Unless you have been a fighter pilot for 10+ years, you cant in US. Go to a foreign country.

ummm..time travel back to when you where 8 and dream of it. Then work for it! But other then that.....save all your money and maybe one day you can pay to fly there on a ride.

the last one died in last space program of NASA and he was a pilot first

you may have missed the boat. when you set a goal, make sure it is somewhat realistic and attainable then you will be able to reach it and be successful.
