I am pretty slim, apart from around my thighs. I want to reduce the fat around my thighs without becoming too skinny?

Me, too. But now I take tap lessons. And have already lost. If you don't tap, just dance around your house to music.

I have the same problem girl, but am sorting it out. Exercise! A good gym work out should do the trick. You need a workout for the whole body, not just your legs as 1) you can't spot reduce fat, 2) too many squats alone will make your legs look even chunkier 3) the more muscle tone you have, the higher your metabolism will be and the fat will melt off anyway.

If you can exercise 3 times a week do 1 upper body weight workout, 1 lower body weight workout and 1 CV workout (about 30-40 miutes of fat burning). If you train more than this even better.

Even though you are already slim and don't want to lose weight from elsewhere, a sensible diet always helps. Drink plenty of water, green tea is also supposed to be good stuff for metabolizing fat. Avoid alcohol, too much salt and processed food.

Good luck - it's working for me!

If you have access to a gym, then the best thing is to get an the machines that are specifically designed for slimming upper thighs. If not, then ride our bike, run, use a treadmill, or do squats. You can get workout videos for specific body parts, too. Just go to Wal-Mart or whatever store you have near you like Wal-Mart or K-Mart, and look around. You'll find exactly what you need.

theres a couple solutions to this. try exercises that involve the legs only. But the problem is that after you burn fat, your muscles will start getting bigger causing you to gain muscle which means weight. If you do do these exercises and you notice a weight change, you will know that this is because of your muscles increasing in size.
1) Bike riding
2) Jogging
3)walking everywhere
4)squats, wearing cloths that will slim your legs.
