Everyone so far has excellent advice, every one works. Try them all. One extra thing I have found that helps me is deep breathing. Science has shown there is 2% less oxygen in the air as there was 50 years ago. So bodies slow down for survival. Just type in "breathing exercises" in your browser text box and hit "GO". It takes a while, don't do it too violently or you will hyperventilate. Good Luck with all the help.

First have your Doctor examine you and do Blood work for things such as Thyroid Disease and anything else before you start any exercise program . Always better safe than sorry is my motto. And if you are of any of these nationalities a test for Lupus should be done if you are of Child bearing age . Asian , African American, Native American Indian, and Hispanic . Alot of people do not realize that this disease is can be Life Threatening if left untreated for to long . PLEASE go to the Doctor and get checked and go from there on what to do next . I am not no expert or doctor , jusst someone who knows about a few things , cause I've been there and still live with it everyday .

There are lots of ways to do this. A dose of sugar or fat in the morning diet, caffiene, Ginseng. These are only treating the symptom. Here's the cure. Regular exercise. 20 min. every other day or so. Regular sleep too. Same time to bed and same time up. Tired or not. Eventually over a period of months your bosy's metabolism rate will increase and stablize at a normal level. Work and patience, there are no short-cuts for this.

i don't know how yo eat. but it really helps to eat like 4-6 SMALL meals a day rather than larger ones. that way your body is continually working on digesting something and that helps to speed up metabolism.

Something that has worked really well for me is GREEN TEA. They even sell it at your local grocery store already bottled.
