Everyone makes mistakes and if you really love him then you can forgive him or else you'll regret it the rest of your life. Having been in a similar situation I agree it probably was some sort of closure. I slept with my ex six months after our divorce, though neither of us were in new relationships. We regretted it afterwards, and a short time later I met my wife of 23 years now. Their is a lot of emotion involved in divorce, as you should know. I slept with my ex probably becuase she caught me in a weak moment, knew from experience what buttons to push, and sexual attraction was the only good thing we shared the last two years of our four year marriage. For her I think it may have been for more emotional reasons, but I never thought about doing it with her again after that. Forgive, forget, and move on and be happy!

How could you trust someone after they betray you. You have to follow your feelings and if they say don't trust then don't! and if they say to trust him then try. But you gotta go by what you feel you first instinct is the rightone! follow it! Good Luck and if it doesn't work there will be someone else out there who will love and respect you!

just give it if he really regerts it and wish he could take it back and would anything to undo the pain he causes then he is really sorry. just take it slow. talk to him let him know what u are feeling. tell him he needs to work on getting your trust back. sooner or later u will truly trust him again

Hmmm let me see...
I guess that if she is his soon to be ex at the moment she is his wife. That would mean that sleeping with her is not cheating but sleeping with you is!

Neither one of you can be trusted. That's why you are both committing adultery.
