Well, the only way it's going to be "somewhat" free is if you fill out all the forms yourself and handle all the legal documents involved with a divorce.

Even then, you still have to pay court costs.

I have heard of no-charge consultations, but not the divorce itself.

You can download the forms you're looking for by clicking the link below:

Oh, one more thing....divorces that don't involve property or child custody aren't that expensive at all. Maybe $300 bucks at most to have a paralegal do it for you.

Plus, the paralegal takes care of all the forms and all you have to do is wait th 6 months for the courts to declare the divorce "final".

One more thing, most paralegals accept payment plans as well.

There is really no reason your boyfriend shouldn't have had this taken care of....unless....he doesn't have a job....

Sounds like a promising family heritage -
Dad divorced, son looking into it, and everyone is broke...

most states have "no fault" divorces, and as long as there are no disputes over property or child support, legal aid can help you file, with minimal fees.

If both parties are amiable, and are in agreement to go separate ways, without any dispute in the way of property, custody of children, or anything else, your divorce shouldn't cost you any more than $500. All that needs to be done is to have file the necessary papers and pay court costs.

interior the case the place the little ones are sufficiently previous to speak for themselves it would be if that they had a verbal replace with Dad. they might desire to permit him understand how they are feeling. He must be there for them, yet we will not make somebody who what they might desire to do. Your daughter is satisfactorily previous for her to pay a circulate to to him at his place, that way she has him there and not on the telephone. Being in person is plenty extra useful than telephone. If after she talks and he nevertheless does not substitute, then it some thing they are going to would desire to deal with. sooner or later he will experience sorry approximately no longer doing what he's think to so some distance as being a Dad and somebody who gadgets an occasion for his little ones. optimistically she would be able to speak and make him see how undesirable they experience approximately no longer seeing him.
