In warm weather I would wear a nice conservative dress, not too short, and a nice pair of heels.
I would only wear slacks to a wedding in colder weather.

First go and get something to eat. If you don't stick out, the choice, is easier. What ever you feel comfortable in, within that surrounding, and doesn't take attention away from the honorees ought to be just fine. You go, girl!

Anything, you would wear to an outside wedding. (Note) Your inside so your clothes aren't going to get dirty.

it depends how you are involved in the wedding. (bridesmaid, flower girl, ...) but if your just going as a guest. a dress that isnt the same color as the bride's dress. be sure its not too casual
