Abuse usually starts when someone is young and unable to fight back. They will usually grow up to be abusers. This is because as they get older, they identify with the abuser from their childhood. They feel a need to be in power and control. So they will begin to abuse a child. They can connect with the child, the helplessness and inability to fight back, and with the abuser, with the power and control finally recognized.

It doesnt excuse what they do, but this is what happens.

Alot of times, they were abused as children and simply think it's okay. Some are mentally challenged. There are some that KNOW it's wrong but are sadistic and sick in the head and do it anyway. I think most of us wish this wasn't a problem, but it is. Some abusers are just control freaks or are addicted to violence, simply do not care, etc. It is hard to pinpoint one reason for it. There are far too many reasons to think of.
It makes me sad. Children should be our greatest pride. They are the adults of the future, after all.

A lot of them were abused when they were young. They are sick and need help, but they are acting out what they know. No excuses though, they need to be put away.
Kidnappers are greedy and want money usually.

I think for the most part the abusers were victems themselves. So the sad part is that it is a cycle that continues.... Kidnappers are a different story

Its hard to tell but its just nasty and sad ..I m a volunteer court
court advocate ..for abused children and good bless them these poor kids. i just want to make sure the parents ,uncles, aunt and such get life in prison!
For some reason I have a special way with kids they just like me or something and tell me every thing.that why i will never get paid for what i do I want that child. to know I am there for them 100% not because of getting paid.

As for the abusers that interview....this is sick these grown adult say the child asked for It. And what really upsets me is they try to plead insanity. I have adopted 2 of the children my self and I love them just as my own.

Its as easy as this - Kidnappers need money from the parents and abusers need joy from the victim.

It's hard to wrap one's head around it, isn't it? Cruelty and abuse in general is hard for me to understand. I have heard that the reason people abuse other people is all about power, and that sort of makes sense. What doesn't make sense is why people would think they need that power. I would like to know the whys, but then again I kind of don't want to know.

Nobody really knows the concrete answer to your question but I believe that these people are doing things they see as normal or "right" in their eyes. I have deeper and more religous veiws concering this subject and I don't wish to offend but maybe you should take the time to read Revelation 16 and 21

Because kids are small and vulnerable! Some adults love the idea of being able to do whatever they want to somebody (like rapers), so they abuse kids who are weak in front of them.
This is something crazy because they can't see that they are hurting people and spoiling their innocence and dreams.
