Anywhere you live marriage is longterm - hence the words till death do us part - marriage is supposed to be forever. SO I am wondering, did you mean a common place marriage - meaning where you live with someone for so many years and then are considered married?

It don't really matter where you are if the couple is not happy with each other and don't click 1 year may sound like a long term marriage to them

A long term marriage is until one of you dies, if your not willing to commit to that then don't do it. And that's in any state. Its not any kind of law, it's a vow to be taken VERY seriously
