I gave up. I want to be with him but I can't wait forever. I am totally crazy about him. I feel like a friggin teenager when I think about him. (i'm a grown woman) and I may even love him. I don't want to lose his friendship and I think that just may have lost it. What do I do now?

talk to him. if you really wanted to be with him you should not have told him you gave up that's not the key to get someone never give up where does giving up get you right back to the start and nothing is accomplished i understand that you may love him but the only thing really you can do is talk to him and don't ever give up

give it up. think about it do u really want to keep torturing urself by hanging around some one who u crave and he does not want u back? u are doing yourself more harm then good. u might be crazy about him and all that but think of it this way if he is meant to be yours and values the way you value him he will come after you. if he does not come after you then you can use this time searching for mr. right. what happens if u miss mr.right because u are to busy chasing someone who does not want u the way u want him? ur just cheating yourself. sorry but the truth is the truth. in the end if u find some one who makes ur fireworks go off u will wonder why u didn't stop chasing this one earlier/

Second... this is very common.
The CRUX of the problem, is TWO PEOPLE, with different levels of commentment/Involvement.
Then eventually the one who is MOST invested... "draws a line in the sand"... in frustration... and the other one... either WALKS over it... or laughs.

I believe in all or nothing. u may have to take nothing. yeah, it pretty much tears your heart outta your chest, but just for a little bit. it's better than lingering and hanging on and dying a little more each day your not together.

oh gosh, we have the same problem!
the difference with mine is that i haven't told him that i'm crazy bout him. i want also to let go, but it's hard to let go of someone that i've growned to love....
