My pickup has an oil leak and left stains on the car lot where I work. The stains are about 2 weeks old and newer and I would like to know how to get rid of the stains.

Well if its fresh try starting with cat litter or oil dry to soak it up. Then use degreaser and pressure washer.

To clean oil stains off asphalt, use a standard cat litter. Spread it over the stain and it will eventually degrade itself. No joke.

I agree with Loo. You can use one of the newer orange oil degreasers which work well and won't hurt the asphalt. Clean the oil up quick because it may dissolve the asphalt.

muritic acid
it will leave a very clean area, and foam up green like slim, but it has to be watered down extremely well and cleaned away after dowsing the oil,it will leave a exceptionaly clean area where it was,and again look odd compared to the rest of the lot.if it is concrete where the acid was it will look as if newly poured.you cannot breath the vapors of the acid or get vapors in your eyes either, it is very strong stuff.otherwise get a strong degreaser and wash several times, whom most have acid content to them also just not as strong

pour Coke on them, it really works. My friend did it for a science fair project. It also cleans toilet bowls and car batteries.

A pressure washer will most likely do the trick.
