I suggest you see your regular physcian and get an mri.Take glucosamine in the mean time could be am old fracture to anything once you get an mri they will be able to see more and suggest treatment options

A lot of factors can add to pain. Age, osteoporosis, etc.
You may wish to check out www.hufa.org and click on pains on the home page. If the doctors can find no bone or muscle cause for your pain, and if you didn't over-exert somehow, then it may be biochemical in origin.
You may also wish to check out the info in your local library.

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and I have many patients with this problem. I use Massage and aromatherapy massage and acupressure. I have good results with all of these. Find a reputable therapist, you won't be sorry.
