Any team has a shot for the "copa." Although Brazil and host Germany are favored to battle out in the finals, I still believe that there's a possibilty of an underdog suprising everyone, even themselves. England has great players. With Owen and Ronney in the line-up they can acheve their long time goal. Even the lowly African country Ivory Coast, is feared by many. A lot is also betting on Australia. Ecuador already shocked its first opponent. So, its anybody's ball game. :-D

I hope not - can you imagine the mayhem - its already bad enough - "to celebrate the world cup we are offering a free TV" - "to celebrate the world cup we are putting a special sticker on our yoghurt" - Can you imagine the descent into mob mentality! It would be aweful - I am NOT watching the world cup and am flying the flag for Paraguay!

I think Pakagermswazitalyland will win
If you really cared you would be glued to the TV and not playing on this stupid site. If the New England Patriots or Boston Red Sox were on at the moment I'd be glued to my TV like a REAL SPORTS FAN
Go USA

given the state germany look to be in, i think we'll get through the groups at least.
now to answer with a question - is there anywhere online where i can plug into a live feed of the match? as i don't really want to go inside on such a beautiful day, the digital TV receiver for my laptop is totally useless, and listening to the radio just doesnt cut it.

The cup? No way. I think it will be either Jimmy Johnson or Kasey Kahn to win the Nextel Cup.
Ohhhh, you meant the world cup. I don't know anything about that.

I don't know, and I don't care. There are much more important things going on in the world.
Britain is involved in an illegal war and two illegal occupations of foreign countries, and daily people are killed and wounded there. It is beyond me how people can ignore this and waste their time with something as irrelevant as Football.
