When you pull/tear a hamstring there is no quick fix im affraid it takes time to heal im no docter but its happened to me before twice actually.its like braking a rib because you breath its alway's moving.when you sleep put a pillow under your knee not your hamstring that usually help's and next time warm up properly before you (i presume you play sport of some sort)get on the feild. But like i said give it a week or so..;D

I bet the area is swollen and hurts like hell, am i right? try a muscle soothing cream like ben gay, mineral ice and apply to the area as much as needed. This will ease the pain. Also, wear loose pants so blood can circulate and help repair the damaged tissues.

using a heating pad or any sports cream for muscles...try to stay off of it to let it heal...im assuming you are talking about a strained muscles..if you snapped you hamstring you may need it surgically put back together.
