well babies in the womb will have days where they are more active then other days, also ur 29 weeks so your baby is running out of room in there is it is normal that you don't feel it move around as much anymore, if you have been active alot during the last few days that could also be why, if you try having something to eat and laying down on ur side or just sitting down and relaxing for a few hours count how many movements you feel within 2 hrs there should be at least 10 movements, if you don't feel anything take a break and do it over again and you still feel nothing then call a midwife at the clinic you've been having ur check ups and tell them, you may need a full check up with the heart doppler for the heart beat and also a ultrasound.

I would at least call your doctor. If he has been really active for a few days and then slows down, sometimes it's normal, but other times there could be something wrong. Have you tried drinking or eating something sugary and then laying down for 15 mins to a half hour? This will usually get baby moving. If you have tried that, and he is still not moving very much, call your doctor and let them know that you have tried that and it isn't working. It's better to be safe then sorry with pregnancy, and all that can happen if nothing is wrong is you get to hear your babies heartbeat one more time. If your doctors office is closed today, call labor and delivery at the hospital. They can tell you what to do. If you really feel there is a problem, then just go to labor and delivery. They will monitor you and the baby and make sure that everything is fine.

BABYS ARE QUIET BECAUSE OF THE 5 S's
Sick, Sugar low, Sedated, Sleep Suspect
ALL BABIES HAVE A SET PATTERN MOVEMENT
Each baby will behave differently but if your baby has changed its normal pattern of movement significantly then it is worth checking out with your doctor
A QUICK FIX FOR A QUIET BABY
Bearing in mind that babys have a sleep wake cycle of about 40 min in the uterus you can pretty much wake a well baby easily.
Its all to do with placental flow and you can rule out most of the above with a simple task.
DRINK A VERY STRONG SUGARY DRINK and within 10-15 min the baby will move Sit quietly with both hands flat on your stomach and feel for the movement......this tells you that the flow from your blood stream through the cord to the placenta is working.
A WELL BABY WILL BE ABLE TO RESPOND TO STIMULUS
a baby who has heaps of flow thru the cord will have the reserve to be able to wriggle and kick so this is a good reassure for you.
A QUIET BABY IS NOT ALWAYS A PROBLEM BUT SHOULD BE ASSESSED BY A DOCTOR
your placenta may be in the front which can mask movements
the baby may just be having an off day
either way if your worried that the movement pattern has changed go and see your doctor and have a biophysical profile done
Good luck

They usually are suppose to move a couple of times after you eat, normally, but you should go call your doctor, it is better to be safe than sorry... they will monitor the baby for like two hours and then they will tell you if everything is ok and they will also check the baby's heart beats to see if they are too slow... or even go to the emergency room and they will do it there., but do not wait, as you may be playing with your baby's life.... Good Luck.

Drink a couple glasses of water, and lay on your left side. Then the baby should move, if the baby doesn't move within a couple of hours then you should call your doc. If you have not had any problems throughout your pregnancy, then everything is probably ok! Babies, have a mind of their own, my son went through little sperts were he moved a lot and then other times he didn't and the advice I gave you is what the doc. told me. Also try eating something, and then relax. This should work and best of luck~

My baby is now 3 yrs old and i had the same problem. At 8 months into my pregnancy my placenta abrubted and i was bleeding alot. MY daughter was born (dead) from lack of O2. From that she now has multiable medical problems. She is unable to walk or talk she has a trach and is g-tube fed. and other serious problems my advise is stress ur concern to ur doctor and mention to him about the placenta concern.

go to your local crisis pregnancy center, they can do an ultrasound and make sure the baby is fine. Don't take other people's advice of just wait and see..it it better to go for nothing, than to regret.
