Or would you rather be a serf, tied to another man's land as a slave, than be king of the dead and destroyed?

I didn't want to add anything to this but I really have to ask:

Is freedom from servitude really just an ego trip?

Your question speaks volume of great philosophy and no one can give an answer to be appreciated and evaluyated by you. I can see that there is great history behind your statement.
What is HELL or HEAVEN is in our perception
HEAVEN
To get an American salary(HUGE)
A British palace as house
A Japanese wife(Who is devoted and follows you althrough)
A Chinese Cook (DELICIOUS MOUTH WATERING DISHES)

HELL
A CHINESE SALARY
A JAPANESE HOUSE
An AMERICAN WIFE( NAGGING I AM TOLD MY APOLOGIES)
AnENGLISH COOK(WILL TEACH YOU TABLE MANNERS)

JANANEEE JANMA BHOOMISCHA SWARGA ABHIDEEYETE

Mother and mother land are far far superior than the Heavens.

A Tamil devotee of the Lord said that I would like to be your servant praying always under your feet and serving and dressing and enjoying it rather than go to heaven where there is an end to all these once for all as you have attained salvation and nothing more is there to be achieved.
I PRAY THAT YOUR COUNTRY GETS REAL FREEDOM AND YOU GET YOUR CIVIL LIBERTIES AND YOUR WAR DRIVEN WOUNDS IN HEARTS GETS HEALED
AMEN

I would rather serve in heaven given the choice thank you, and living has to be preferable to dead. Power isnt everything, a happy serf is better off than an unhappy king

Heh, see my blog. Dealing with that at the moment.

On the other hand, Back to my original question to many questions... If Satan is on an equal footing with God, doesn't that make it two Gods? And if it is, are we still talking Monotheism?

It is too easy to attribute all good things to God, and call him omnipotent, all seeing, and all that good crap, then claim there is a devil who presides over the damned.

Well, it can't exist, God would destroy it. If there is a hell, God reigns over it. It isn't Satan, it is God. Serf either way man, serf either way.

i dont think there is such a thing as reigning in hell. hell is a punishment for everyone there.

and God has promised some very great things about heaven. he says it hasnt even entered our minds.

so i would definatly say its better to be the least in heaven than the greatest in hell. infinately better.

Heaven, i don't like spending my time with the dregs of the earth now, let alone ruling over them....

i mean is that really power???

No one cares what they do anyway so you have no power, only an ego trip...

i'd better rule the hell, and many think that. that's because you're free to do whatever you want, while serving the good makes you a servant, right?
so, better be a king of dead

To serve in Heaven would be an honour not a duty.

Hell is bad and Heaven is good, so it is better to be in Heaven than in Hell regardless of one's status.
