0044 is the international dialing code for the UK, mobile change it to +44, the + being the 00. It adds it to message numbers as it has no idea where they ahve originated, or where you are, so, in case you want to reply, it adds the +44 to the number. If you are in the UK when replying it still adds it, but it makes no difference to the cost.

+44 is the international code for the UK. It's what you dial instead of the 0 if you were phoning from abroad. Having said that, I have no clue as to why on some networks, the +44 shows and on others they don't. Probably has something to do where they're routed from.

its the area code. Its attached for most telephone numbers, because the same numbers can be used in different countries e.g. america, so it needs these to distinguish between the phones. If you call without the +44, then you just get the nearest phone with that number
