Your empire is making money hand over fist, why should you be charging the lonely, down hearted and unloved people on this planet to post an ad to find someone that will make them happy?
You would be doing the world a huge favor by dropping the cost of posting ad's and recieving emails from their possible soul mate to nothing.
Plus in doing that, you'd be cutting the throat of your compatision, charging thirty dollers a month for any or all personal ad's is nothing more than price gouging!
You're doing the same thing with your personals as the big oil companies are doing with gas prices ... sticking it to the public once again!
Be the bigger and better company and actually help out the little people out here that pay your over inflated saleries by buying into all the ad's you place on your site!
Just be human for a change and give the public a break!

They are answerable to the stakeholders who demand continuous growth for various reasons. so fortunately or unfortunately they have to charge for the services they render to these "lonely people". in turn, these lonely people will (hopefully) meet someone through that ad, its called value for money if they achieve their objectives. There is an element of social responsibility (or obligation for that matter) and this an organisation wll show in more deserving areas, for example, sponsoring a scholarship for an underpriviledged and high achieving candidate...

If the sad, lonely, dull people with no drive to go out and meet people for themselves would wish to pay for the privilege of employing someone els's hard work then why shouldn't they make a buck or two? I don't work for free either. It's called supply and demand.

HOORAY!!! I wish more people would say something like that. Yahoo Personals used to be free, but then they figured out they could make a buck by preying on lonely people. I totally agree with you!

I agree. For awhile there were more things for free on the net, just paid for by advertisers. Then eventually they started charging for everything. The net doesn't seem as friendly as it once was...
