I don't use windows explorer much but when I click on some things it uses it instead of different web browser, but windows explorer always comes up blank, why is this.

use firefox browser, its better, safer and more secure than ie anyway!

Everyone uses Windows explorer to manoever through Windows. You use Internet Explorer to go to different web pages. If you're getting a blank page for Internet Explorer, then you could have a virus - go to the menubar and select Tools, Internet option - on the general tab look to see what web page is set as your home page. Change it to www.yahoo.com and each time you open the Internet, it will open at this page. If it changes back to the blank page, you have a virus.
