.exe means it's an executable, thats a program that will run. Don't activate it in case its bad news.
If you test the file itself, not just the name, with a program like Spyware Doctor
www.pctools.com
it will tell you if it thinks its a threat by its behaviour
Names can be changed, so even an up to date security program may not recognise it just from the name. If you didn't install it I'd be suspicious. Genuine programs identify themselfs with obvious names, like internetexplorer.exe.
If its a threat it could have been installed maliciously, via a trojan or your machine being hacked, or from a file you downloaded.
You could try googling the name and see if anything comes up. You could also try zipping it to stop it running, although thats not guaranteed to work.

well its not a threat, just run it through my antivirus and bug hunting programmes, the data base has never heard of it and it was updated this morning......so at least its nothing to worry about.
