I agree with John's answer above. She is extremely intelligent so one can only hope the means to her madness was the greed and not the cruelty. BTW, both are gross in my opinion. I do not agree with her sentiments regarding the 9/11 widows BUT this is The United States of America and she is entitled to her opinion, she has the right to speak it and even print it.

I do agree with her on one point in this newest controversy of hers however....Where is all the outrage when Al Franken or Jeanine Garofallo (sorry about that spelling) or some other ultra-left-wing liberal slams the Shivo family or our sitting President or our troops?

Don't forget however, Anne Coulter is an ultra-right-wing conservative. She is an individual who has strong opinions that are not necessarily the opinions of every conservative out there.

It is sad that someone that shrill and obviously that much a mouthpiece for the neoconservatives gets as much attention as she does. Filled with her own self-importance, she is another Rush Limbaugh, another Bill O'Reilly. Pay close attention to THEIR family values. They are what are let out to bark the message for their keepers.

Michael Savage may be just the strangest and wildhaired dogs in their pack but he runs with them.

The religious right has their agenda and it is a very tightly knit one: gays are going to hell; the government should be Christian; schools should be Christian; the government should control what you read/hear/think; big business knows better what is good for you; government is there to serve big business (ultrarich) and not the poor; people are poor or in need because they are sinful. And if you ever elect a Progressive (I believe we are tagged "Bleeding-heart-tree-hugging liberals") you will be forced to marry a gay, burn the flag of the US, renounce God, and give up your guns.

These are the lies that keep getting spun by people like Anne Coulter. They are deliberate and insideous. The mask slips only occasionally and you see the fangs. If we want to see how successful a government run by the state is, well, look at Iran. Is that how we want to live?

Up until recently, I always thought she was a fox. She seems to have an incredible intellect, and is beautiful to boot. But her comments about the 9/11 widows was not only outrageous, but puzzling as well. Of all the people that needed to be slammed, and she goes after the 9/11 widows...she has either gone off the deep end severely or she is deliberately trying to stir up controversy to sell her new book. Either way it is disgusting. I can only hope she finds her way back to sanity and becomes again the right-wing agitator we have all grown to know and love.
