The probability they will not visit any of the three is (.5) x (.6) x (.65). So the answer to the first question is 80.5 percent.

.35 means there is a 35% probability.

These events are not mutually exclusive, since it is possible to visit more than one of the vacation spots in the same trip. We know this because the probabilities of the three events add up to more than 100%.
