blood is necessary to sustain all muscles within the body. The heart is a big muscle. Muscle needs oxygen in order to survive. Without a proper blood supply, it will eventually die.

Why is the continual flow of blood necessary??? maybe because it transports oxygen to the body?? Maybe these parts die without oxygen???

Heart muscle requires a large amount of blood which carries oxygen and sugars (needed for energy) as it is continually pumping. The blood is not readily absorbed through the chamber walls.
