I believe it is a law and very stupid law. Just wanna know why we have to do it and who it up? How is benefitting us the people?

well it really to keep people from just leaving there cars and keep people from parking a camper or motorhomes and not moving it you find this a lot near and around beaches to keep overnight er away and they say street cleaning and they ticket for revenue

evens up the wear on the road surface i suppose, from the passing traffic.
not something i'd have much agreement with if i lived in such an area though - i've had to leave my car in the same parking spot for a couple weeks before, on axle stands, whilst overhauling the engine & exchanging gearbox in my spare time (no garage to put it in or driveway to use!)

It's so the street sweepers and plows can clean the streets.
