Well, in the movie, you get it that it is Sophie and her grandmother. In the book there is a boy also. BTW, the book gives you time to think about the clues and to work out things for yourself. You might still want to read it.
Meanwhile, go back and read _Holy Blood, Holy Grail_ which purportedly is research. Then maybe you might want to read _Second Messiah_ and _Hiram Key_. Keeps your mind alive.
