first you need to research about architecture and design and also research about the basic elements of drawing before you try to do teach yourself graphic design because it will help you better understand it. after you do that a helpful thing to do is to learn computer programming as well as you can get photo shop or go to the library and get a book called Graphic Design for Dummies.

Well you could just wing it. Or you could go to the book store and get a book for a specific program. The best program is Adobe Photoshope CS but thats if you have about $1000 Dollars to blow. I find it esiest to just go out and test stuff.
