My last period was on May 17th. My next period should be June 13th. I took a Clear blue test this morning and it says I am pregnant. Isnt it too early to tell? Can I ba possibly pregnant for longer then just two weeks even though I got my last period? It's just so weird and I don't understand it. Mainly because I am with my boyfriend for only a month and he said that he thinks he cant have children, since he and his ex were trying for three years and she never got pregnant by him but now has a baby with some other guy. I am just afraid that he is not going to believe it's his.

Guess what? It looks like your BF was wrong. The odds are better that you would get a false negative than a false positive. These tests now say that you can get a accurate result up to 5 days before your missed period, so you are in the window. It looks like you are going to be due around Feb 20th, 2007.

Your relationship with your boyfriend should be based on trust if you are sleeping together and not using protection. I hope you already know he doesn't have any STD's or AIDS...if you both haven't been tested, be ready for some serious lab work when you go in for your prenatal visit.

If he never went to the doc to get his sperm tested, then he doesn't know for sure he can't have babies. Remind him of that when you tell him. In the meantime, good luck to you. Just a month into a relationship is a hard time to begin a family. It can be done though. Get to the drug store and buy some over the counter prenatals and start taking them right away. Call your doc and schedule an appointment, they will want to see you before your 9th week of pregnancy.

Take care of yourself!

It is not too early but go to the clinic to where you can get a certified nurse to do a test in most cases it is free but in some states it costs $5 dollars but I will tell you that there test is more accurate than the ones on the shelf. I was pregnant with my first daughter for about 4 months before those tests said I was pregnant. I don't rely on those tests becuase of that and I will tell you that the test at the clinic is better. If you are congradulations. He might not believe you so if you go full term get a paternity test to prove he is the father. I had my period during the first 5 months and the doctor said it was normal. I have been told by some people that it takes up to 5 days for your system to reconize the baby.

The pregnancy test reads a certain hormone in the body that is only present if you are pregnant. I don't think there is a chance of a false positive.

You can tell if you're pregnant as soon as seven-ten days after ovulation.

If he doesn't believe it's his, I sure hope you made the right choice in choosing a boyfriend. Just because his ex never got pregnant, that doesn't mean anything. Maybe she is the one that was having fertility problems.

Best of luck to you and your baby. Just in case, there are alot of resources out there for single moms if you happen to need them!

Premarital pregnancy by a reluctant father is not a happy thing to happen. If he disowns the child it will only complicate the matter further. His reaction to the possible pregnancy is a sufficient hint that he is not easily going to accept the child. You are not yet married, and you were with him only for one month or so; as if it is not enough to conceive. Conception as a result of fertilisation of the sperm in the ovary happens only once which may be by first intercourse or subsequent ones. It does not matter. Now you may go for abortion/washing or take tablet to terminate pregnancy by consulting a physician.

It's not too early but why are you getting pregnant with someone you only know for a month?

a pregnancy test isn't going to tell you that your pregnant when your not because the hcg levels in ur body, its very unlikley and rare to get a flase postive, and he needs to beable to trust in u that you didn't cheat assuming u didn't cheat, and if he still doens't believe it then just get a dna test done when the baby is born. but congrats on ur pregnancy..

I disagree with someone who said there are no false positives. See a Doctor

It has to be right.. as far as your boy friend goes, you can do a DNA test if he does not trust you..
