I'm proud to be part of a great NATION, and somehow... I think this AMERICAN IDOL show truly represents what kind of AMERICA we have nowadays...
The show from the very beginning till the very end... the whole contestants... everything! (well, probably except Simon Cowell as Englishman... but, what the hey!)

Of course it includes the CONTESTANTS who swear a lot, CONTESTANTS who are JERK...
Don't EVER deny that America also consists lots of PEOPLE LIKE that! Just look our government! Just look at the street!
They are also American... and it appears also in AMERICAN IDOL!

i dont belive american represents america. I mean yeah i belive it gives everyone a chance to prove themselves and take a chance at fame, but america wasnt created to be about singing and personally i dont think it proves anything about america because ive seen people do drugs, get arested, die, have siezures, etc. and i honestly dont think american idol represents all of that now does it???

no.have your seen the auditions on american idol?
most of those people that come to the auditions cant sing but swear that they will make it big.remeber mary roach?she made me not proud to be an american.
besides american idol is a television show.

ITS OK BUT I THINK THAT THE PEOPLE WHO VOTE .. VOTE FOR THE WRONG PEOPLE... I JUST DONT THINK ITS THE BEST... AMERICAN SHOW...
