you may be experiencing Astro Projection, which is an out of body experience or you could be having a dream and be lucid, which means you are auctually awake in your dreams. you can go to any book store and find the info you need to know about either of these things, or even to a public libaray.

And this happens when you sleep or when you are awake?

What happens to me (although rarely) is to feel in a dream that I fall to back and keep falling until I wake up and feel the bed under me. I suppose this is just a dream and as in a dream you have sight, hearing, sometimes even smelling sensations, you can also have tactile sensations. I suppose it's the same for you.

Possibly the hag or witchriding. I'm sure theres a scientific name for it, however. I'd always have it after drinking excessive amounts of green tea and long periods of meditation.

It's a very deep sleep. It just like you're unconcious. Called REM sleep, you might want to look it up. I hate those sleeps, I can feel everything, like its real life *shudder*

I get something that sounds very similar when I'm very tired - I just start to fall asleep no matter where I am. Usually in lectures . . . Just sleep more!
