some forms of birth control, namely the i.u.d. and p.o.p. work as abortificients, not contraceptives. i don't think women being given these methods are being made aware of this.
in-virto fertilization relies on a donated fertilized egg successfully implanted into a uterus. the chances of success with this are slim. these fertilized embryos that don't make it are essentially the beginnings of people that don't live.
are people aware of these kinds of things? is it a concern? i'm not talking about artificial insimination, or about the pill or depo or norplant or provalactics or barrier methods. just these specified that i would think would interest the pro life community at the very least, and possibly beyond, because, while i can see supporting abortion to minimize standing problems, these other examples are things creating the issue from scratch. what do people from various communities think? (christian, pro life, pro choice, fertility crusaders)
