Frank Zappa released 21 albums during the decade.
And.....
Elton John. I'm not exactly sure how many albums he released, but it was a sh**-load. Around 15 to 20.
And.....
Stevie Wonder released quite alot of albums, too! At least 12.
Maybe more.
I'm sure I could think of more artists, too - if I were to puy my mind to it.
But that was the 70's.
Now, you're lucky if someone releases five albums in a decade.
That's what profit driven corporations have done to the music business. (That's another answer for another question on another day.)
Things sure have changed.
