Arn't teengaers suppost to rebel, go to parties, and have arguements with their parents e.c.t? I dont do any of those, apart from little arguements with my mum, i have been to some partys, but not like people who go to loads, do you think i should do some of that just to make the most of my teenage years? i'm 17 now, i dont want to be mean to my mum, but i feel like i should dye my hair at least, do you think?

well i don't think there's anything wrong with you, sound like you've got a great mum. if you want to rebel keep doing what you are doing now, you are rebelling against what a teenager should be. you can dye your hair if you like but only if you really want to. making the most of those years is doing whatever makes you happy.

Depends on whos hosting the parties and whats involved.
its not how much you drink but what you do when drunk... You could be the biggest party animal on pepsi whilst others just drink...
You don't have to be mean to mum...it may be your mum was a top rebel and easy going so you don't have to fight ...
Sounds like you need an adventure...
Like Road Trip or the film the Beach...
Have your own parties and make it wild but not at home. Look into the underground movements or learn the guitar.
You do need to pull away to grow up...
You had (didn't check your sex) boy/girlfriends?
Thing is its no good having a party with dickheads and avoid all gang activity.
Go to concerts, adventure sports... You need to find yourself and all are different.

Don't compare yourself to most teenager, one cant tell, God might have a purpose for your life. Im not like that, wasnt like that, i mean like most teenagers but im very glad at the rate things go gr8 for me.
Not clubbing, partying isnt an issue that just shows and make up who you are.
"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother—which is the first commandment with a promise— that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."Ephesians 6:1 -3.
You shouldnt think that arguing with you parent is a good thing cos the bible isnt even in support of it.
Its now left to you to decide which you would do. God Bless!!!

I wasn't much of a rebel... or so I thought. I was a good student, didn't wear trash clothes or listen to trash music, didn't go to many parties and would always come home at the time agreed, never drunk...
But looking back, I can see how I rebelled. I ignored every single of my parents advice... in fact, often I would find myself doing the exact opposite just to prove them wrong in some way. I never liked doing what people expected of me and that behaviour was at its peak when I was a teenager. Except I didn't see it until much, much later!

I think you should be proud of yourself. I can't see why being a mature teenager should bother you. You can "make the most" out of your teenage years by doing exactly what you are already doing. If you want more excitement, you don't need to seek trouble and fights to do it. You can go out with friends and have a lot of fun without ever doing anything that is illegal or designed to make your mom mad. If you feel you need to spice up your life why not try those options rather than figure out ways to do things that you don't really want to do and that will get you in trouble.

I think you should do what feels right for you. Not all teens have to rebel. Consider yourself lucky that you get along with your mum. I got along great with my parents and mostly did church activities at your age. I did my wild stuff after I turned 30. I think I turned out ok without being a wild teenager. There is plenty of time left for partying believe me and its so much more fun when you are of legal age to do so.

You are normal, that's perfectly normal behaviour and you are saving your self a lot of heartache and trouble by being the way you are, who wants to be getting drunk and throwing up on people every weekend? It's perfectly normal to have disagreements with parents without them turning into full blown fights, who needs that stress at home? Don't change the way you are, you sound really nice. If you are going to dye your hair have it done in a salon though, it looks better than home-jobs.

No, just becasue you know who you are dosne't mean you have to be in rebellion. It's ok a lot more get along with their parents than are rebellious snots than you think. And If you were my kid I'd help you dye your hair I just did all four of my kids in a red last week my son has a red mohawk streak and the girls both have a full head of red and my other son i did a design on his head and dyed triangles red.

Every teenager feels he's not a proper teenager.
Personally...Id like to have a teenager like you around rather than the type you described.
If that description doesnt gel with you...congratulations to you and your parents.
Those things are termed as growing up hazards....which is a list far more elaborate than that...but even that is normal.
Everything is normal.
But you are a sweetheart.
God bless you.
Your parents are lucky.
N please dont dye your hair...you will regret it when you grow up.

No, do what you feel like no what others are doing. Not everybody hav the same thinking and attitude. You might be an introvert. They don't talk about teens like u b'cuz u guys don't get their attention as good as those who shout and scream and rebel. Got the Point! :-)
