In dissolving a problem, one has made the problem go away (whether by taking action or not).

It's (like) the "glass half empty or half full" dilemma.

It can be resolved as well.
Dissolved....in this case....is not an option.
Salt dissolves in water.

U can solve a problem....like we're solving urs...
and sunstances get dissolved,like we dissolve sugar in water...

Solved can mean that a solution was found for an issue or problem.
Dissolved in this case can mean that the problem went away. no longer exists.
