You go on. Allen Ginsburg said, "It's not enough for your heart to be broken because everybody's heart is broken now," and I think the same sentiment applies here. Not to be overly negative but where do we get the idea that our actions aren't on some level a gesture, a flurry of activity that will mean little once the activity is done? I mean, maybe most things are done in vain. Maybe you can break even in life, at best, and that's the best we can strive for. But I think that's the tragic beauty of our lives--we go on. Regardless, we go on. By not giving up our "going on" we're taking a radical stand against the futility. It's like saying, Yes, world, life, I get that you're going to smoke me in the long run, but I'm not going down easily.

Luck is a state of mind;

Have a positive outlook and you will have a positive experience.

Things can go wrong; really WRONG; but as long as it doesn't kill you, you can stand and choose not to let it get you down.

"What's done is done there is no use crying over it"
