i ran a scan and found a backdoor it said its a potential opening for intruders to get into my computer how do i get rid of it? yahoo anti-spy is the only thing that finds it

If Yahoo finds it and SpyBot and Adaware and Windows Defender don't, then it's likely to be a false alarm.

If you don't have at least two of those three, then get them. They are all free.

It's also well worth while researching (using Google) the error message/name of the 'backdoor' that's reported. You will usually find that someone else has already encountered it and has posted information about it somewhere on the net.
