Never confuse politics with real life.

A lot of politicians have faced each other over the floor of the house and played the rough and tumble game of party politics while retaining a strong friendship and respect.

I would imagine Dave and Tony would get on well together away from the house - after all they seem to believe in the same things!

Still, it gives me a the merest excuse to roll out a few Churchillian quotes.

Clement Attlee is a modest man who has a good deal to be modest about.

I am never going to have anything more to do with politics or politicians. When this war is over I shall confine myself entirely to writing and painting.

They told me that Gladstone read Homer for fun, which I thought served him right.

You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they've tried everything else.

Baldwin thought Europe was a bore, and Chamberlain thought it was only a greater Birmingham.

I unquestionably have met the two David Cameron and Tony Blair by artwork and regardless of being a existence long tory i became greater vulnerable to have self assurance what Mr. Blair mentioned above Mr. Cameron. David Cameron holds his enjoying cards too close and purely says what human beings desire to take heed to, while Tony Blair would not provide in to the rigidity a lot. Is it because of the fact of his years as PM and an greater point of content textile with complicated thinking? uncertain yet once you talk with Tony Blair you comprehend you're speaking to someone. while David Cameron - you experience each and every thing he says is synthetic and rehersed in a replicate. i might thankfully have faith Tony Blair for yet another 4 years - shame it is to no longer be although.

Of course they speak amicably to each other. They probably already know each other and have known each other for years.

Whatever their differences are, they probably have been working together for a long time.

When people run against each other and compete for a job or have a different opinion, it isn't personal. It's life. It is part of the process.

Somehow, in the course of working every day, they have learned how to get people to agree or disagree over one or more issues.

Nobody who hates anyone gets very far in government or politics by hating someone else. The way you get things done is to try to get along with everyone and convince them to see things through your point of view.

Surely it is just business. And probably friendship, too.

I am unaware of any personal animosity between the two men. But given that Blair is generally at loggerheads with even senior members of his own party, I'm not sure the political divide has any relevance....

Wouldn't it be funny if they got on really well!! Obviously they would have to keep that kind of thing under wraps. It wouldn't do well for any policy trashing if the public knew they actaully really liked each other. Hey it's possible....Politicians are all hypocrites anyway!

I should imagine that they would behave like gentlemen should & be polite & courteous to each other.
Their differences are political , not personal & after all they are adults.
