John Terry and Jamie Carragher have been the 2 best English centre backs this season, and perhaps even last season aswell.
The problem is that Sven has his favourites, one of which is Rio (overated) Ferdinand who makes too many mistakes in my opinion

No way, he did have a great season but I think he shouldn't be a first choice. He is an ideal player to cover various roles should England be hit by an injury or if Sven wants to play cautiously and defend a lead.
The starting line up should be (presuming all players are fit)
Robinson
Neville
Terry
Ferdinand
A Cole
Beckham
Gerrard
Lampard
J Cole

i think he should always be picked ahead of gary neville at right back as he is easily a better player.
