Mine just crashed 10:59 - but resumed after a slight delay.
It does that too often for my liking.

Down again at 11:40 & straight back up.
My netgear DG834G has been fine for a couple of years - it may be that I need to upgrade the firmware.
Does anyone else have a BT 8meg issue - that would save me the risk of the update...
Edit: 13 hours later...
The firmware update was not a success & left the netgear inoperative. The alleged repair tools were ineffective, as was the reset button. I'm now just configuring a d-link G804V... Could have been worse - might have happened on a Sunday!
As to how often it goes down... I've had the BT 8Mb only about a week (well between 4Mb and 6.5Mb according to speedtest) but I suspect I'd only notice a drop & IP reissue if I'm using Citrix(work) or Counter Strike....

My brother's crashed twice this morning and at least a 1/2 dozen times this week. He is seriously thinking about getting the 10meg service from ntl, which i have and have had no problems yet in the 8 mths i have had it
